- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Hired a long transit van from waymax for 24 hours. They said there was a problem with the engine on the van which they were looking at so we waited for the van to be ready. About 15 mins later we got our keys and drove to move house. The van was fine travelling over to Derby to be loaded up but on the way back the van lost almost all power. When the ignition was switched off and back on it seemed to work fine but would then lose power again a few mins later. I drove the van home like this as we only had a couple of hours to get everything moved. The van should never have been sent out in the 1st place and after phoning waymax to complain afterwards all the lady said was that it was my fault for taking the van when I knew it might have a problem. I was under the impression the van was fine when I took it. Certainly wont be hiring from them again and would strongly recommend to others to use a different companyBy Admin, July 03, 2017
